How to make Baked Mava Gujiya

Take maida and ghee in bowl.

Rub ghee in maida with your palms and make a dough.

For filling----

Roast mawa in a pan and when it changes it's color switch off the gas.

Let it cool and in the meantime roast the nuts.

Crush the nuts and add them in the mawa. Mix well.

Add coconut powder, cardamom powder and sugar to the mawa mixture. Mix properly.

Now take the dough and knead it slightly.

Roll the dough and cut rounds with a cookie cutter.

Fill half portion of it with mawa filling and cover it with remaining half of the cut rounds.

Seal the edges with a fork.

Prepare all the gujiyas in the same manner.

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees centigrade.

Grease a tray with ghee, place all the gujiyas on the tray, brush them with milk and bake them at 180 degrees celsius for 20-25 minutes.

Gujiya is ready to serve.

My Tip:

Can mix suji also.
