German potato dumplings | How to make German potato dumplings

Ingredients to make German potato dumplings

2 big boiled Potato3/4 cup Cornflour1 Egg1 tsp Salt1 tsp Pepper2 tsp Butter1 tbsp Flour2 tbsp Tomato sauce1 glass milk2 tbsp grated cheeseSalt as per taste1/2 tsp PepperParsley for garnishing

How to make German potato dumplings

Take boiled potato and mash them

Add 1 egg

And cornflour

Add salt and pepper

Mix all of them finely

And bring it together like a dough

Devide in equal parts

Make balls of them

Heat water in a pan

When it boils add balls in it

Steam and cook them for 15 min.

Till them make sauce

Heat pan and add butter

Add flour and saute

Then add tomato sauce and mix

Now add milk and stir continuously

No lumps required

Add grated cheese and mix sauce

Cook till creamy

Add salt and pepper

Be careful about salt as cheese is already salty

When dumplings boiled take them out from water

Put them in serving plate and pour sauce upon them

Sprinkle parsley and serve hot
