Ingredients to make Chana dal and rice khichri
1 cup soaked Rice
1 cup soaked Chana daal
1/2 cup Curd
2 chopped green Chilli
2 tsp chopped Ginger
6-7 Cashew nuts
8-10 kishmis
Coriander leaves
1 tbsp Ghee+1tsp Ghee
1 tbsp Oil
5-6 whole Peppercorns
2 cardmon
4 Cloves
2 bay leafs
1 stick of cinnemon
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Haldi
1 tsp garam Masala
Water as required
How to make Chana dal and rice khichri
Heat wok and add oil and ghee
Add all whole spices
Then add cashews and roast little
Stir carefully
Add green chilli and soaked chanadaal
Now take spices except garam masala and add
Add water and cover wok
Cook 5 min.
Then whisk curd and add it
Now add rice and mix
Add half cup water
Cover and cook till rice became ready
Add kishmish and garam masala
Add 1 tsp ghee
Now garnish with coriander leaves
My Tip:
Can use boil rice also
